Some writers of yesteryear felt they needed to create not just words but a sort of mythical personality...a cult of personality, if you will. There was Hemingway the womanizer and brawler. Fake. There was Hunter Thompson, drug addict, drunk, suicidal maniac. Not entirely true at all. There's more of course. I guess I've created my own myths, but then, I don't feel they are myths. What you see is what you get.
