Technically speaking, us writer's job is to produce words that are printed on paper or the digital screen or both,. We then put it out in the marketplace in exchange for some nice casheshe (thank you Hank Moody for the casheshe reference...). But for me, it's plain fun to write stories and even non-fiction pieces. If it wasn't fun...if it didn't fill this void in my soul...I wouldn't do it. Like my late friend, the poet Roger Walls once said, if writing is like work for you, do something else, like work on a tree farm.
